A native Sacramentan with a deep love and passion for the
"ART" of photography.  A self-taught artist...

Since childhood I have dreamed of being a Photographer -
always the one with the camera.  As digital technology became
more accessible to me over the last 8 years, I began collecting
higher-end equipment and editing software and eventually
started handing out business cards, it's been a blast... a dream
come true.

Back in the 80’s I was busy with my
insanely large video
camera, taping weddings.  At that time my true passion
 was
producing video slide shows from photographs.  Creating a
story of someone's life or highlighting a milestone such as a
40th birthday, a 40th anniversary or the birth of a baby.

I still love that body of work in addition to taking photographs of
people.  I love creating art from someone’s life...life is so
beautiful!

My photo journalistic style, combined with my ability to uniquely
edit photos to create a more intimate or dramatic piece is my
passion…my art. I take pictures of people!

In 2009 I was voted in the TOP 5 on the KCRA A List for
BEST PHOTOGRAPHER in Sacramento, 4th place.

My primary commitment is my work with projects to raise
awareness or promote acceptance - on a variety of topics from
supporting same sex marriage to discrimination against aging
and disabilities.

I am one of 14 artists at the Kennedy Gallery in downtown
Sacramento and am committed to using my talent to raise
awareness of promote acceptance...
